07/30/2005: "Weekending"

Well, the visit with my brother went really well. It was SO good to see him again. I hadn't seen him in nine years, but I really felt like we reconnected well. I was seriously depressed for a while after he left, but he called me that night and let me know he was doing well and had made it to his first hotel, so I felt a lot better. I just wish his life didn't have to be so screwy right now.

My secret project is going awesome!!! I'm so excited, even if my husband is going to kill me. I still haven't talked to him. Should be...interesting.

Going to the beach today, and hopefully will manage to avoid grouchy crabs. *I* want to be the only grouchy crab on the beach, darn it!
