I'm going to be scarce today--dealing with my latest disasters, which includes a massive allergic reaction to a fire ant bite, a software conflict that has rendered my printer useless at the exact time I need to print out a manuscript to send, and broken air conditioning when the temps are in the 80's and the humidity is higher than that. None this could have waited until hubby gets home in a week and a half, huh? Grr.

I'm feeling for you. I'm fighting the cold from hell, so I sympathize.
Hope you get the printer thing worked out. Sending out the ms will make you feel tons better!!

Larissa, Hang in there. Things WILL get better. I know it doesn't seem like it at the moment, but they will. Take some disolve in your mouth Benadryl, if you're not allergic to it, because it'll help take the swelling and itching out of the bite. If the printer doesn't straighten out, I suggest hammer therapy. It won't fix the printer, but it'll make YOU feel a lot better.

Thanks, ladies!
Jordan, LOL on the hammer therapy!
I did get the printer working after about 3 hours worth of work, so hopefully I can print out the ms.
My ant bite is better today--my foot doesn't look like a football anymore, but it's still swollen and painful. I've been living on Benadryl for a couple of days now! *g*
