I'm not there. And I'll admit it, I'm jealous!
I really, really wanted to meet my CPs and my writer friends, but because of the move, I couldn't. Plus, right now if I could go anywhere, it would be to visit my friend in Cape Cod who had a terrible accident. I'll get there soon, though.
In the mean time, I'm still jealous!
The writing lists are quiet, my personal email is quiet...it's like the romance writing community has shut down, which I guess it kind of has.
Oh well. I have stuff to keep me busy. I just got a new editing project, I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my entry for Lori Foster's Brava Contest, and I'm getting my agent list put together. Oh, and then there is still house stuff. Lots of that.
And good news! We FINALLY got our garbage can. Just now. The garbage powers that be didn't seem to care if I called, but the day after Bryan calls, we get a can. What's up with that?

I'm envious of those going to RWA -- I'm totally new to writing romances and totally broke, but I still want to go and absorb everything. If only those cassette tapes of conference presentations/lectures/panels were free!

I'd love to go to the RWA conference, too. But alas, it was not to be this year. Nor the next one, I fear!
I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Larissa. How awful. Hope he or she is recovering.
And BTW, I didn't know you were entering the Brava contest. I entered it too. Good luck!

I'm trying to use these 5 days of down time to actually WORK since there won't be much going on in the e-World! LOL!

I'm home too, due to poor planning on my part. I'll be working like Alison. But if you get too lonely in the e-world I'll be around!
Good luck with your Brava entry! I'm amazed at how many people I've read about entering. I guess the erotic romance sub-genre is really taking off, which is great since I love it!

I'm jealous too!
I was talking with my mom about the costs, and she was amiable to them, saying that they weren't too bad. I wish I'd know her stance months ago!
But good luck on your entry Larissa1 I entered one too, and I love it. The competition's gonna be fierce!

Thanks for all the luck on the Brava entry, and good luck to you ladies, too!
Ellen, thanks for the well-wishes for my friend. I hope to see her soon!
Alison, yep, I'm kinda seeing these days as 5 days of writing I get that everyone who went to RWA doesn't!
(I'll pretend they don't benefit in other ways...)

Seems like a few of us are working instead of going to Nationals. I'll be here too, working on finishing the novella I entered in the Brava contest!
Good Luck to all of you!
