Animal Myths

A DOBERMAN PINCHER’S NARROW SKULL CAUSES ITS BRAIN TO EXPLODE

The Truth:

WHAT??? This is right up there with dogs attracting lightning. Neither of these myths are true!

Doberman Pinchers have narrow skulls, but their brains fit just fine. They do not go insane or vicious, nor do thier brains explode as a result of their thinking organ growing to big for their narrow heads. If this was true, wouldn’t dogs like Greyhounds and Dachshunds suffer the same fate?

Still don’t believe me? Ask Ellen Berry, Treasurer of the Doberman Rescue of North Carolina, Inc., says, “Ask your veterinarian (or any veterinarian - call one out of the phone book Yellow Pages)if they’ve EVER seen a Doberman with an ‘exploding brain’!”
