Nope. According to the College of Veterinary Medicine in Missouri, 1 in 3,000 calico cats is male. So male calicos are rare, but contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t make them worth a lot of money. It simply makes them rare. And usually sterile.

Also, for the record, “calico” is not a breed, but a coloration. According the Cat Fancier’s Association, there are 16 breeds that come in the calico coloration.
